Trusted Certification Service Provider VAS Latvijas Pasts publish new version 2.61 of certification practice statement of issuing CA. New version contains updated descriptrion of E-ME certificates in LDAP.

The Procurement Monitoring Bureau introduce new e-service. Subscribbers can fill, sign with E-ME e-signatures, and send applications to Bureau. Pls. see details in http://www.iub.gov.lv.

Under "Tehnical support" is added new information about supported card readers - keyboards.
17.04.2007. Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) provides a possibility to get an access to state-significance register data by using the e-signature.
Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) provides a possibility to get an access to Vehicles’ and their drivers’ state register data by using e-signature. With e-signature is possible to obtain data about oneself and about an owned vehicle. More detailed information can be seen here.
07.03.2007. Issued is a new version of a signing software e-Signer.
New signing and verification application e-Signer version 1.0.1, operating also with a proxy server, is issued. Here you can download the application wiht an assistance system. Application e-Signer allows you to use the e-signature cards for signing of electronic documents and affixation of the time stamp.
Use the new e-Signer version! We remind that eDoc version 1.0 documents are not supported (documents that were signed by e-Signer versions 1.0, which were available and downloaded in www.e-me.lv until February 6, 2007), due to unconformity of the created documents to the defined standards.

23.02.2007. Swedbank customers can use e-signature.
Swedbank has introduced an option for its customers to authenticate themselves as users of internet bank, by using the Latvian Post issued e-signature card. It may be used by private persons in Hanza.net, and enterprises in Telehansa.net. It is one more step towards a wider development of e-services in Latvia. You can find more detailed information here.
20.02.2007. Now the electronic signature may be used for declaration of the residence place.
Since January 1, 2007 residence place can be declarated also electronically in Citizenship and Migration Affairs Board (PMLP). You can find more detailed information here.

14.12.2006. How to verify electronically signed documents?
Note, that in order to read and verify electronically signed documents and electronic signatures, no e-signature card is needed. It’s enough with Windows working station, internet and E-ME offered software.
